Ok.....so it has been a crazy week. Crazy good, not crazy bad. I finally got my new line of yarns and fibers in my Etsy shop, my wonderful LYS Knit Witz and Ravelry and I have been so incredibly overwhelmed by the response I have gotten. Everyone has been so encouraging and supportive that I just can't even begin to describe how awesome that makes me feel about this new endeavor. So...... to say thank you to everyone, I am going to be holding a FIBER FRIDAY CONTEST!
This is how it will work.................
The contest starts today Friday, February 22nd.
It will run through until Sunday, February 24th at Midnight.
On Monday I will put everyone's name into a drawing and pick 2 winners (one fiber winner and one yarn winner). Oh Yes! This is where you must pay attention.
In order to participate in the contest you must leave a comment.
Your comment must include, but is not limited to the following:
1.) what your favorite colors are
2.) whether you are entering the contest as a spinner or a knitter
3.) and your e-mail for notification, if you are the winner (so that I may get information for shipping)
The winner of each category (Fiber and Yarn) will be announced on Monday, here at Knitting Misadventures. Each winner will also be notified via email so that I can get their snail mail address in order to ship their goodies. Each winner will receive either custom blended fiber for spinning or a hand painted yarn with the colors of their choosing. Other goodies tend to want to travel with item such as these, so be forewarned....you might end up with more than you anticipated.

Wow Chris i can't believe I am the first one to leave a comment! Well you know what I think of the new colourways already... they are AWESOME! My favourite colours... hmmm purple is #1, bur blue is up there as well :) My fave of the colourways are (in no particular order) Beer Goggles,I'll Call You, Harlot Not Whore, Stret Walker & Candy Ass. If that gives you an idea of taste (truthfully they're all pretty awesome LOL).

I Love Love Love Candy ass! I like street walker also, but candy ass is my favorite.
I am a knitter who is learning to spin with a drop spindle - your stuff is far too pretty for that though.

Chris I love love love your new yarns and so this Friday Fiber Contest (even though it is now Saturday and I just found it) really excites me. Last night at the knit in, I was using the yarn names to carry on an entire conversation :) I have two categories of favorites-- favorite names but the colors just aren't me and favorite names and colors. The winners in no particular order are: Favorite Names- Why Buy the Cow, I'll Call You and Size Matters; Favorite Names and Colors- She's Got a Great Personality, ManWhore, Blue Balls and Harlot Not Whore.
